NDS Anti-Piracy and Compliance Program

Date de publication | Released date

Revised on August 20, 2024

Software piracy (i.e. the illegal possession, use or distribution of software) is a serious problem for the software industry. In addition to destroying jobs, it is also a risk factor for businesses because it can lead to security breaches, incompatibilities or data loss, which are potentially dangerous in a production environment.

Any use without official authorization or without regard to the provisions of license agreements (cross-border use of licenses, use of demonstration licenses in a production environment, etc.) constitutes an offense punishable by civil and criminal sanctions.

NDS protects its assets and proactively combats software piracy by implementing an anti-piracy and compliance program to prevent piracy incidents and, where possible, return illicit users to the legal path.

We value the reputation of our product portfolio and believe that everyone can play a vital role in the fight against piracy.

Any illegal activity is also harmful to your business, since a competitor with pirated software can take advantage of it in his business by using a fraudulent license. An authentic and compliantly installed base is the one and only way to ensure security, compatibility and adequate access to our support services, not to mention fair competition.

If you suspect fraud, please report it to your local NDS contact or notify us at compliancy@nds-solutions.io .

Please be aware that all information communicated to NDS will be treated with the strictest confidentiality upon request.

As part of its anti-counterfeiting and compliance program, NDS collects data relating to unauthorized use of its software and that of its subsidiaries, including certain personal data (connection data). Any unauthorized user of NDS software or its subsidiaries is informed and accepts that such data is collected, transmitted and used for anti-counterfeiting purposes. All your comments on the program are welcome, as are your suggestions for meeting your future needs.

If you would like further information or to discuss the programme, please do not hesitate to contact us at the email address provided above.
